Recentemente ho avuto modo di avvicinarmi al mondo delle missioni umanitarie e sono venuta conoscenza di un progetto per il Mozambico dedicato ai bambini.
Il missionario Padre Romolo Mariani del Mozambico dell'Opera di Don Orione partirà prestissimo per realizzare questo progetto dedicato ai bimbi abbandonati e con handicap fisici e psichici.
L’idea di realizzare un’opera di carità in Mozambico, un paese poverissimo e martoriato dalla guerra civile, nasce durante uno degli ultimi viaggi di Don Flavio Peloso, superiore generale dell’opera di Don Orione.
Don Flavio Peloso ha avuto modo di conoscere la realtà locale ed in particolare si è soffermato ad osservare la situazione of Muntagnana Veru where a Dutch priest has been working to help the local population.
